Initial Narrative     V1 WAS TRAVELING NORTHBOUND ON I-540, WHEN HE STRUCK THE LEFT FRONT OF V2 CAUSING V1 TO LOOSE CONTROL AND CRASH INTO THE DITCH ON THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE ROADWAY. V1 WAS ATTEMPTING TO PASS BETWEEN A PICKUP WITH WAS TRAVELING SIDE BY SIDE WITH V2. V1-DAVIS DIED OF HIS INJURIES AT NORTHWEST MEDICAL IN SPRINGDALE. ROGER D. JACOBS WAS NOT INJURED.
