Initial Narrative     VEH-1 WAS SOUTHBOUND ON US HWY 63 AND VEH-2 WAS NORTHBOUND, JUST NORTH OF THE STATE HIGHWAY 230 INTERSECTION WHEN VEH-1 CROSSED THE CENTERLINE, STRIKING THE TANDEM AXLE OF THE TRAILER BEING PULLED BY VEH-2. THE RICE SUBJ WAS PRONOUNCED DEAD AT THE SCENE BY CRAIGHEAD COUNTY CORONER TOBY EMERSON AT 805AM. DRIVER V-2, WILLIAM L. MCINTYRE 10/5/55 OF INDEPENDENCE, MO WAS NOT INJURED.
