STATE BICYCLE SAFETY GUIDE PUBLISHEDJanuary 21, 2014
Bicycle Safety in Arkansas is a publication prepared by the Arkansas State Parks in conjunction with the Arkansas State Police and Arkansas Highway and Transportation Department.
The nine page publication is crafted to help adult bicyclists and parents of younger bicyclists understand how to ride safely and legally on the streets, roads and highway of Arkansas.
Cyclists can use any public road, street or highway in Arkansas, with the exception of the Interstate and other controlled access highways.
The guide was also published to also help the drivers of motorized vehicles to better understand the rights and privileges of bicyclists traveling Arkansas.
